Your Child’s Journey

Experiences

Throughout all BKCAT Nurseries, children are provided with memorable learning experiences to give them the best start in their education.

BKCAT Nursery facilities are designed to provide enriched learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Sandpits, water areas, play kitchens and more are available to captivate the minds of little learners and develop their curiosity.

During their time at our nurseries, children experience a range of exciting trips to destinations such as The Deep, Tropical World and Eureka. When they are not exploring the outside world, nursery children benefit from educational visitors including nurses, vets, emergency services, musicians and singers.

All these experiences support children to build strong foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

Education

At BKCAT Nurseries, children’s learning experiences are planned around half-termly themes which engage little learners and inspire exploration. Examples of these themes include All Around the World, Lifecycles and Animal World. Staff plan topics around children’s needs and adapt their teaching accordingly.

Through musical interaction, playdough, dance and weekly Books We Love, children are encouraged to develop their vocabulary and curiosity around a wide range of topics and themes.

Our Values

All schools and nurseries throughout our Trust aim to instil children with a strong set of values. At BKCAT Nurseries, we encourage children to show kindness and respect to one another and to celebrate each other’s differences. Our staff have a caring approach, resulting in a nurturing and cohesive community where every child is valued.
